No file, part or description on this website should be read as permission to use a modified vehicle on public roads. Road legality must be confirmed for the specific vehicle and jurisdiction.

1. No unlawful defeat-device services

JWH-TUNER does not provide products or services intended to disable, remove, bypass or reduce the effectiveness of legally required emissions, safety or diagnostic systems for unlawful road use.

2. Road use and type approval

Vehicles, systems, components and separate technical units are subject to EU type-approval, market-surveillance and national roadworthiness rules where those rules apply. A modified vehicle requires inspection, approval, documentation or non-road-use restriction where the relevant authority requires it.

3. Customer responsibility

Before ordering or installing any calibration file, hardware or software, the customer must verify:

  • whether the vehicle is legal for public-road use after modification;
  • whether emissions, noise, OBD, safety, insurance and inspection rules are affected;
  • whether manufacturer warranties, leasing terms or fleet policies are affected;
  • whether motorsport-only parts are kept off public roads unless separately approved.

4. Motorsport-only and special projects

Motorsport-only or special-project services are intended for closed-course, private land, development, export or other lawful non-road contexts. Documentation should identify the intended use and any required customer declaration before work starts.

5. No inspection guarantee

We do not guarantee that a modified vehicle will pass inspection, emissions testing, roadworthiness testing, type approval, insurance review or manufacturer warranty review unless this is expressly certified by the competent authority or approval body for that vehicle and market.
